Team Leader, Commercial Banking (Sabah) :

Summray:

• Manage the acquisition and management activity, team operational activities to ensure team KPI are achieved.
• Drive and motivate team members in disposing their functions toward contributing assets growth and revenue to the Bank.
• Responsible for the overall profitability and efficient operation of Commercial Banking Sabah State.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Plan, manage and oversee the overall day to day business operations and activities of Commercial Sabah State.
• Lead, manage and drive highly competent and motivated team members in providing excellent service quality to customers and prospects at all times.
• Plan, develop and implement team strategies and plans in line with the Bank goals, strategies and long term plans to achieve organizational goals.
• Plan, develop and implement strategies for business development and product enhancement and marketing of products & services to increase sales volume and assets.
• Planning and implementation of strategic plan on-market penetration and pipeline building to sustain growth.
• Managing team members to ensure the origination of high value added deals are in the right direction with the Division’s objectives
• Managing sales and marketing process of commercial banking financing portfolio.
• Managing business and account portfolio to ensure the increase of revenue, cross selling and the improvement of the profitability.
• Managing peer relationship with other business and support units of the Division as well as other Departments within the Bank.
• Identifying strategic ventures and collabolarations, new products and improvement for existing products.
• Recommending business strategies & marketing plans to the respective key business for management endorsement.
• Recommending financing proposal to the approving authority, while ensuring the risk of Non Performing Financing (NPF) are within the risk acceptable criteria to the Bank.
• High level internal and external communication dealing with various departments within the organization as well as dealing with senior level contacts in clients organizations, industry bodies and external organizations.
• Working closely with other Business Development Unit (internal & external) in promoting Islamic financing in banking market segments.
• Positioning Bank Islam branding by communicating relevant benefits to clients and public to ensure relevant value/brand proposition.
• Responsible for presentation credit proposal papers to the financing committee (RFC/FCB/FCA) as and when required by management.
• Any other functions/tasks assigned by the management as deemed necessary and required.

Requirements / Qualification:

• A degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or related field from a recognized university or its equivalent.
• Strong credit background with a good understanding of commercial credit evaluation and processing.
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in credit and marketing of commercial business financing.
• Strong managerial skill and high sales-driven, inclination towards a sales-driven culture.
• Sound business acumen and analytical skills, independent, self-motivated, a team player and able to perform work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines..

Assistant Branch Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily branch operations
• Secure projects in Oil & Gas industry
• Maintain branch turnover and operating costs as per the agreed manpower plan
• Control branch's workflow and activities according to the Company's standard operating procedures and standing instructions
• Oversee technical and commercial submissions for sales, service and parts supply of Caterpillar generator sets and engines
• Represent Caterpillar products and services
• Maintain good rapport with clients and Departments

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years working experience, preferably in operations & parts management, service and repair for Oil & Gas industry
• Knowledge of Heavy Equipment engines and offshore operations would be an added advantage
• Proficient in spoken & written English and Bahasa Melayu
• Must be PC literate
• Good command of interpersonal and communication skills
